Mel Kiper’s first of what will be a million NFL mock drafts are out, and he has the Bills taking Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson with the ninth overall pick. If I can intervene, please don’t read a single thing into mock drafts this early other than some fun water cooler talk.
Pro Football Focus rated the NFL’s top rated edge pass rushers, and Jerry Hughes of the Bills came in at number one on the list, ahead of bigger names like Robert Quinn, Aldon Smith and Cameron Wake. Wow.
The Buffalo Bills locked up one half of their kicking duo last week by re-signing punter Brian Moorman. They’d like to do the same with the other half – kicker Dan Carpenter. Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News has more.
Executive Director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl Phil Savage confirmed what Bob DiCesare first reported on Tuesday, that UB linebacking star Khalil Mack will not be participating in the Senior Bowl next month. It’s probably a good move, as Mack is a near-lock to be high first-round pick.
